This scrapbook, created by members of the Junior Class Dance Committee at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Junior-Senior formal dance held on April 4, 1959 in the Elliott Hall Ballroom. The scrapbook also contains an invitation, newspaper clippings, a program, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties and financial expenditures. Also included are drawings of birds and flowers, depicting the theme of the dance. The cover is made in the shape of a birdcage with the silhouette of a bird inside the cage. Accompanying the scrapbook is a hand-painted mask decorated with glitter and a feather.
