This scrapbook, created by members of the Sophomore Class Dance Committee at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Sophomore Class formal dance, "Mardi Gras," held on February 17, 1951 in Rosenthal Gymnasium. The scrapbook contains a dance card/program, an invitation, newspaper clippings, an orchestra contract, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties and financial expenditures. The cover is decorated with drawings of two masks.
