This scrapbook, created by members of the Freshman Class Dance Committee at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Freshman Class formal dance, "Far Away Places," held on April 23, 1949 in Rosenthal Gymnasium. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, a dance card/program, an invitation, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties and financial expenditures.
