This scrapbook, created by members of the dance committees of the Dikean and Cornelian Societies at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Dikean-Cornelian formal dance, "Come To The Mardi Gras," held on February 28, 1948 in Rosenthal Gymnasium. The scrapbook contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, an orchestra contract, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties and financial expenditures. The cover of paper cut-outs depicting a mask and the title of the dance.
