[Kirkland Hall Scrapbook], 1951 - 1952
Scope and Contents
This scrapbook, created by residents of Kirkland Hall, contains materials relating to the 1951-1952 school year at Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Items in the scrapbook include song lyrics to “Kirkland House," a ballot for Freshman Class Officers, the “Summit” newsletter, newspapers, a laundry card, permission slips, a musical program, and programs from the Thanksgiving Service held on November 20, 1951; Senior Class show “Oh Look At Us Now!” on May 8, 1952; and Junior Class show “Agape or Close Your Mouth, the Next Flie's Mine." Photographs document events, groups, individuals, and the exterior of Kirkland Hall. Cut-outs decorate the pages of the scrapbook.
