[Jamison Hall Scrapbook], 1964 - 1965
Scope and Contents
This scrapbook, created by residents of Jamison Hall, contains materials relating to the 1964-1965 school year at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The scrapbook contains the “Jam Pot” newsletter, Rat Day notes and correspondence, committee lists and room assignments, and programs for Founder’s Day, Christmas events, and the Lady Bird Johnson visit, “The Lady Bird Special." Also included are newspaper clippings regarding Jamison Hall, elections, productions, and student life; a ticket for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill vs. North Carolina State University football game on Consolidated University Day; class and resident hall song lyrics; and a poem to the counselor, Mrs. Cunningham. Photographs depict Mrs. Cunningham, residence hall life, Freshman Formal, the Christmas party, Commercial Department students, housekeepers, the campus postman, and individual residents. The scrapbook is decorated with ephemera.
