[Jamison Hall Scrapbook], 1957 - 1958
Scope and Contents
This scrapbook, created by residents of Jamison Hall, contains materials relating to the 1957-1958 school year at Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). The contents of the scrapbook include: newspaper clippings related to school productions, student life, dances, and the first nursing class; a University Sermon program; a Commercial Department program; programs from school productions of “Oklahoma” and “Blueprint Babies”; Rat Day poems and “Instruction Sheet”; a letter announcing the intended serenade of Melissa Moose by the Kappa Alpha fraternity; the Sister Day poem; 1961 class motto and song suggestions; and Jamison Hall “Last Will and Testament." Photographs document individuals and groups of Jamison Hall residents, housekeepers, and Rat Day.
