[Jamison Hall Scrapbook], 1955 - 1956
Scope and Contents
This scrapbook, created by residents of Jamison Hall, contains materials relating to the 1955-1956 school year at Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Items in the scrapbook include Jamison Hall handbooks, the “Jam Pot” newsletter, newspaper clippings regarding student events, scholarship winners, parties, and productions; programs from “We, the Women," “Noah," and the University Sermon; and class song lyrics for the Class of 1959. Photographs document Jamison Hall students, housekeepers, parties, Miss Cunningham, individual students, Rat Day, and Jamison Hall exterior. The scrapbook is dedicated to “Miss ‘C’” (Miss Cunningham), the Jamison Hall Counselor.
