This scrapbook, created by representatives of the Class of 1961 of The Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the freshman through senior years of the Class of 1961. The contents of the scrapbook include Rat Day and Junior Show fliers, a University Sermon program, a Sister Day poem, and newspaper articles about student life, including Penny Day, the Freshman motto and song, plays, and the Commercial Department twins. Photographs document students, the Founders Day ceremony, house presidents, Sisters Day, Freshman Formal, and twins on campus. Paintings, drawings, and ephemera decorate the pages in the scrapbook.
