Ned Cline is the biographer of Joseph Bryan. He is a veteran journalist and biographer, as well as a former chair of the Friends of the UNCG Libraries. His work and his interests often took him on the road, traveling with the campaigns of Ronald Reagan, George Wallace, Jimmy Carter, and Richard Nixon. He was a Neimon Fellow at Harvard where he concentrated on the study of Southern politics and was one of 20 journalist nationwide chosen for a four month study of Congress at the Washington Journalism Center.
