Emily Herring Wilson is an author, historian, and publisher. She received a B.A. in English from Woman's College in 1961 and completed her postgraduate studies at Wake Forest University in 1962. The Emily Herring Wilson Papers contain materials pertaining to her writing, her research, and her relationships with fellow writers. The collection also encompasses the archives of her venture Jackpine Press and the history of her time at Woman's College.
