Abstract
The Curry School was started in 1898 as a demonstration and practice school in which students of the State and Normal Industrial School who were studying to become teachers could gain experience.
The collection contains records and artifacts from the Curry School, including awards, event programs, newspaper clippings, photographs, publications, class rings, patches, pins, and trophies.

Abstract
The practice school, also known as the teacher training school, was established at State Normal and Industrial School, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, in 1892.
