Manuscript

The Peter Hillsman Taylor Papers date from 1955 to 1966 and contain handwritten and typed manuscripts of Taylor's works. A few of the manuscripts are only fragments; several others are represented in more than one draft. A small number of letters from publishers are housed with the manuscripts to which they refer.

The poetry consists of unsigned and undated manuscripts and typescripts with corrections, notes, and additions by the author.

The general files cover a period from 1970-1983 and discuss the founding of the residential college and the early struggles it encountered. Student and Alumni newsletters are included and dated from 1970-2012.

This collection contains records that document the activities of the Department of Business Education and Secretarial Administration. It includes faculty meeting minutes, correspondence, and various reports published by the Department.

Materials have been maintained in the order in which they were received.

The Dorothy Wain Thompson collection includes photographs, military and personal papers, humorous writings, military guides, newspaper clippings, ephemera from her posting to England, songbooks, and a 1945 book about the history of the Air Force Unit. Also included are artifacts such as ribbons, medals, devices, pins, and insignia and patches.

The collection of Division of Continual Learning is comprised of 21 boxes of material, ranging in dates from 1960-2000. This collection contains three boxes of annual reports as well as several boxes of miscellaneous tapes. These tapes focus on lecture series and symposia presented by the department. Also contained within the collection are administrative records of the department, including, though not limited to, budget and policy concerns, grants, and curriculum committees.
